1st shift position As Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Leading and supervising shipping and receiving associates
Approving time cards
Inventory control
Planning, assigning and directing work
Managing delivery and tool/MRO crib
Determining shipping priorities and methods
Overseeing shipping activities and determining space requirements, position in truck and legal load limits
Maintaining ERP system
Inspecting incoming shipments which includes rejecting damaged items, reporting shortages, etc.
Inspecting material handling equipment
Preparing bills of lading Requirements of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor include:
At least 3 years of previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility/warehousing environment working with inventory, MRO, shipping and receiving
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Hands-on Key skills: Shipping & Receiving, Production Control, Manufacturing
