Senior Litigation Paralegal - DEFENSE - Commercial Litigation

A respected boutique litigation firm in Houston's Galleria area is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to support a busy business litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on complex matters in Texas state and federal courts from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of business litigation in Texas state and federal courts
• Manage court filings, e-filing, calendaring, and litigation deadlines
• Draft and prepare litigation documents, including discovery, subpoenas, deposition notices, affidavits, privilege logs, and document production logs
• Coordinate hearings, depositions, court reporters, service of process, and trial logistics
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness and exhibit lists, deposition designations, and courtroom support
• Review, organize, redact, and Bates-label documents and evidence
• Create demonstrative exhibits and assist with presentation technology
• Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, and outside vendors
• Track case progress, manage litigation projects, and ensure compliance with all deadlines

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certification (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of business litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of Texas state and federal court procedures
• Experience with e-discovery platforms such as Relativity, DISCO, or Everlaw
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, and document management systems; experience with Centerbase and NetDocuments preferred
• Trial preparation and courtroom support experience required
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while handling confidential and time-sensitive matters
