Senior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Growing, established company seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join a collaborative, in-office team environment. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the month-end process, financial reporting, reconciliations, and year-end activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform account reconciliations and audits
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Review P&L statements and financial reports
• Support tax preparation and year-end cleanup
• Analyze inventory and other balance sheet accounts
• Utilize QuickBooks and advanced Excel for reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• QuickBooks experience required
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with reconciliations, inventory, and audits
• ERP system experience preferred
• Experience leveraging AI tools is a plus
