Front of House Manager

A high-volume, full-service restaurant in Valley Stream, NY is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead daily dining room operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

This role is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, including supervising servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff to ensure consistent, high-quality service standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, can quickly resolve guest concerns, and knows how to motivate a team during peak service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily FOH operations including dining room flow, guest experience, and service standards

• Lead, train, coach, and develop FOH team members to maintain strong performance and hospitality excellence

• Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and labor efficiency while supporting business volume needs

• Ensure prompt and professional resolution of guest concerns and service issues

• Maintain strong communication between FOH and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service execution

• Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of FOH staff

• Uphold cleanliness, safety, and brand/service standards at all times

• Assist in driving sales through service execution, upselling, and guest engagement

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant front-of-house supervision or management

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage high-volume shifts

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with POS systems and restaurant operations preferred

• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
