- Prepare and submit customs entries for air, ocean, and ground shipments via ACE.
- Classify imported goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and verify correct valuation.
- Review key shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading for accuracy.
- Collaborate with clients, carriers, and government agencies to resolve entry questions or issues.
- Monitor shipment release status and proactively address delays, holds, or inspections.
- Stay informed on U.S. Customs rules, PGA requirements (FDA, USDA, EPA, etc.), and trade compliance updates.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customs entries, import operations, or freight forwarding is a plus.
