Our organization is on the lookout for a committed physician to take on the role of Director at our Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This leadership position presents a remarkable chance to influence the clinical, educational, and programmatic aspects of our resident-focused outpatient practice, while also advancing a specialized gynecology career in a vibrant, university-affiliated community hospital. Additionally, the role entails covering two (2) daytime 12-hour hospitalist shifts each week.

• Weekly schedule includes two (2) days in the outpatient clinic and two (2) days at the hospital, with 12-hour daytime hospitalist shifts.

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the OB-GYN resident outpatient clinic.

• Mentor and supervise residents in areas such as patient care, professional growth, and evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate multidisciplinary care in collaboration with subspecialty providers in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Family Planning.

• Opportunity for collaboration with subspecialty teams and access to hospital resources.

• Support for mentorship and professional development aimed at enhancing surgical practice.

• Engagement in the education and training of residents.

• MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

• A strong dedication to teaching residents and fostering academic growth.

• Must be eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut.
