Medical AssistantTryfacta is seeking a Medical Assistant for our client in San Luis Obispo, CA 93405. This is an 8-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please apply now!Location: San Luis Obispo, CA 93405Duration: 8 weeksWork Schedule: 8x5 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs We have openings in other cities too - Simi Valley, Templeton, Arroyo Grande, St. Helena – CA. Local and traveler candidates accepted. Auto offerResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with patient examinations.Check in patients, obtain and document vital signs.Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and basic clinical procedures.Conduct audiometry and vision screenings (if qualified).Maintain patient records, referrals, and continuity of care documentation.Report patient observations and changes to the provider.To be considered for this position, you should have:Minimum 6–12 months of Medical Assistant experience.Current EPIC experience required.High School Diploma or GED required.BLS (AHA) certification required.CMA/RMA certification preferred (or equivalent experience, as accepted by the facility).Phlebotomy certification preferred.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
