ECM Group Leader

Job Responsibilities Guide, instruct and communicate assigned work to employees in the department. Monitor group quality and performance, ensuring the team consistently follows work instructions and data card requirements. Assist Ops Leader in planning ways of utilizing personnel in the most efficient and profitable manner. Maintain flow of work in keeping to established schedules. Assure equipment is in good working condition. Assist Ops Leader in the administration of product quality, company policies and safety programs. Assist Ops Leader in maintaining proper paperwork required in the department. Keep Ops Leader informed of any operating difficulty and submit constructive recommendations to eliminate them. Assist workers in work‑related problems, including quality problems. Identify and communicate employee training needs to supervisor and provide training as needed. Provide input to Ops Leader and team members on Quality, Safety, Performance Appraisals, Productivity, Potential Discipline and Reward & Recognition. Perform usual classification responsibilities and other related group‑leader duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 5 years Metem experience and/or 3 years in Quality in a manufacturing setting. Basic computer skills (email). Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm). Ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Good communication skills, ability to follow written instructions and give verbal instructions for multiple tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of Quality, Safety, Shop computer systems and Shop Support Requirements. Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shift. Willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, safety shoes). U.S. Persons only; proof of status required. Preferred Qualifications No current disciplinary action. Ability to work with computerized shop floor tools. Ability to learn quickly with strong problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision. Demonstrates self‑motivation and holds strong ethical standards and integrity. Pay Base hourly pay range: $33.00‑$37.30 per hour plus 10% shift differential.
