Accounting Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Duration: Direct Hire Salary: $130k - $135k annually About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead an accounting operations and financial reporting functions. This role is responsible for overseeing the month-end close, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and accounting team while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical accounting knowledge and a passion for process improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations and supervise the accounting team. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review financial statements, general ledger activity, and consolidated reports. Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Coordinate annual external audits, tax filings, and subsidiary reporting. Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows. Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff. Prepare financial analyses and management reports as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. Big Four experience preferred; CPA is a plus. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and audits. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting systems (Syteline preferred). Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
