Collector / Account Representative – Fargo, ND

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | No Weekends | Base Pay + Commission

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and finding solutions?

United Accounts, Inc. is looking for a motivated  Collector / Account Representative to join our Fargo team.  No previous collection experience is required. If you have customer service experience, enjoy talking with people, and are motivated by the opportunity to earn commission, we will provide the training you need to succeed.

What You'll Do

As an Account Representative, you'll work directly with consumers to understand their situation and find realistic solutions for resolving outstanding accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating with consumers by phone to discuss their accounts


• Helping consumers understand available payment options


• Negotiating payment arrangements and developing workable solutions


• Providing professional, respectful, and helpful customer service


• Maintaining accurate account notes and consumer information


• Working independently while also being part of a supportive team


• Following all applicable collection laws, regulations, and company policies

What We're Looking For

Previous collection experience is not required.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong communication and people skills


• Is comfortable talking on the phone


• Enjoys problem-solving and negotiation


• Is motivated and goal-oriented


• Can work independently and as part of a team


• Is organized and pays attention to detail


• Has customer service experience or similar experience (preferred)


• Is comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office
