Job Summary:
This opportunity is for a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) located in Burlington, Vermont. The position involves working in a high-volume, academic, teaching hospital setting. Candidates must bring their nursing license on the first day and have the flexibility to meet the operational needs of the unit.

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred, at least 2 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) experience with strong vascular/cardiovascular/open heart competency, experience in large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience within past 2 years, prior travel experience.
• Schedule: 4 10-day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM or 3 12-day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; one or two 12-hour weekday calls from 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM; one full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable floating to other Operating Room suites such as general, orthopedic, neuro, ENT, etc. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained. Complete detailed work history including bed count, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and facility type is required for submission.
