We are pioneering this new sport across the United States by creating avid players, fans and fanatics alike through building community, bespoke amenities and experiences in padel. Initially anchored by our flagship location in America’s finest city, San Diego, with eventual expansion across California and beyond.

Role Overview: The Club Manager is responsible for overseeing all day to day and operational areas to execute the company’s strategy, customer and performance goals. This position is a part of the club’s leadership team and plays a key role in defining business strategy, vision, and values, attain long-term and short-term goals, and maximizing the workforce to maintain a high-performance culture. The Club Manager has the opportunity to support the coaching team and deliver lessons/clinics, however this is a manager first role, and coaching is optional.

The Club Manager will be reporting directly to Padel N9NE’s Senior Leadership Team regional leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the organizations short- and long-term organizational goals to align with corporate strategic objectives
• Oversee daily operations to maintain highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and satisfaction
• Create, improve, implement, and enforce schedules, policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational efficiencies and financial effectiveness
• Drive profitable revenue by developing and fostering new client relationships
• Recruit, train, and manage staff and ensure staffing needs are met
• Manage budget and oversee operation of events
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high performing team to foster growth and encourage development
• Foster a positive, high-performing culture with highly engaged employees
• Ensure regular maintenance of facilities and equipment to meet all customer needs
• Analyze industry and competitor trends to maintain place in the market
• Assist Senior Leadership Team in execution of facility directives such as implementing procedures, marketing efforts, budgeting, event planning, programming, staffing and other activities as needed
• Liaising with SeaBreeze management as needed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of managerial experience, ideally in fitness/wellness operations
• Impeccable communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• Passion for padel, fitness and wellness
• A drive to build a new padel community from the ground up

Compensation:

$60,000-90,000 Yearly Total Comp package, based on experience and skills.
