Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Night Float RN!

Job Description:


- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in a similar role
- Patient Ratio Experience: 1:3
- Floating Requirement: Required to med/surg
- Travelers: Must have previous travel experience
- Unit Population: Diverse patient population, from young adults to the elderly with a variety of health needs
- Patient Diagnoses Include:
- Cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and GI diseases
- Ventilator management and titratable drips
- Substance abuse withdrawal
- Post-operative care
- Special Procedures/Unit Details:
- A-lines, central lines, intubations, chest tubes, open abdomens
- Special Equipment: Glidescope


Skills and Certifications:
- Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Key Skills Required:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit & Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience
- Patient management with multisystem organ dysfunction
- IV management, including insulin protocols and cardiac drips
- Ventilator management and care of ventilated patients
- Comprehensive understanding of dysrhythmias and their management
- Proficient in procedures such as phlebotomy and chest tube management


Unit Details:
- Daily Census: Approximately 5 patients
- Number of Beds: 10
- Interdisciplinary Support: Includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more
