Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurses are needed at a medical facility in the region. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients in a high-acuity environment. The position requires working night shifts, with a focus on delivering excellent neonatal care in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; completion of neonatal care training or relevant certifications; no minimum years of experience required; located within commuting distance of the facility
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal ventilators, arterial lines, lumbar drains, and ICP monitoring; certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS are preferred but not mandatory
• Responsibilities: Assist with procedures including EVD or bolt placement, lumbar puncture, central line insertion, arterial line insertion, rapid sequence intubation, bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, and chest tube insertion; uphold unit policies and standards of care during patient interactions
• Additional Information: Emphasis on bedside shift handoff, whiteboard communication, and unit-specific protocols; staff experienced in managing neonatal devices and procedures preferred
