Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
• Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseloads efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with suspected speech, language, or communication difficulties.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
• Deliver speech-language therapy through individual and small-group sessions onsite.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional insight to the educational team.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to promote generalization of communication goals across academic and home environments.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning atmosphere.
