Perform meaningful legal work from your first day Work directly with partners and experienced litigators Gain exposure to complex federal and state litigation Develop exceptional legal research and persuasive writing skills Observe depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials when opportunities arise Receive mentorship from attorneys invested in your professional development Opportunity to transition into a full-time Associate or Briefing Attorney position after graduation What You'll Do Conducting legal research on federal and state employment laws, procedural issues, and emerging legal developments Drafting legal memoranda, research summaries, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents Reviewing client files, intake materials, pleadings, discovery, and supporting evidence to become familiar with assigned cases Assisting attorneys with case strategy by identifying relevant legal authority and analyzing complex legal issues Reviewing local court rules, standing orders, and individual judges' procedures Assisting with discovery, document review, and trial preparation Helping prepare legal analyses, position statements, and briefing on contested legal issues Proofreading and cite-checking legal filings to ensure accuracy and compliance Attending attorney strategy meetings and collaborating with litigation teams on active cases Qualifications Completed at least one year of law school (2Ls and 3Ls preferred; exceptional 1Ls will also be considered) Strong academic performance Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced litigation environment A collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn Preferred Qualifications Law Review, Journal, Moot Court, or Mock Trial experience Judicial internship or externship experience Prior legal internship or clerkship experience Interest in litigation, employment law, or class action practice What You'll Gain Previous wage and hour experience is not required.
