Licensed Professional Land SurveyorBuild & Lead a New Survey DivisionM&T EnterprisesM&T Enterprises is seeking a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead the creation and growth of a new in‑house survey division. This is a unique opportunity for a driven professional who wants autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the ability to build something from the ground up.Position OverviewThe Professional Land Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of survey operations, from project setup to field execution. This role is ideal for a self‑motivated, hands‑on surveyor who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of both office and field responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage a new survey division within M&T EnterprisesSet, manage, and verify control and stake pointsPerform construction staking and as‑built surveysInstall and verify survey monumentsManage fieldwork, equipment, and survey workflowsEnsure compliance with state and local surveying standardsCoordinate directly with project managers, contractors, and clientsQualificationsLicensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in applicable stateStrong experience in construction staking and boundary surveysProficient with survey equipment and data collection methodsAbility to work independently and manage projects from start to finishStrong organizational and problem‑solving skillsWillingness to perform hands‑on fieldwork as neededWhat We OfferOpportunity to build and lead a new survey divisionHigh level of autonomy and decision‑making authorityCompetitive compensation based on experienceLong‑term growth and leadership potential within M&T Enterprises401K, PTO, health insurance, dental and visionMust be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
