Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 Job - Hamden, CT
Are you a CDL-A driver seeking an over-the-road opportunity that guarantees weekly home time and minimal physical strain? At American Trucking Group, we provide dry van routes across the Northeast with outstanding equipment and competitive compensation. Experience the independence of OTR driving while following a regular schedule that ensures you return home each week.
Home Time:
- Enjoy weekly home time for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are tailored for consistent miles, helping you maintain quality family time and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Operate late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Mostly dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical effort allows you to focus on driving and optimize your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,000 to $1,450 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policies, $12 per hour layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia. All tolls are paid through EZ Pass and toll cards.
