As a RN Supervisor at Saint John Paul II, you will play a vital role in leading a team of dedicated nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. With a focus on clinical excellence and staff development, you will oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

About the Role:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department , including staffing, scheduling, and workload management.

• Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including orienting new hires and conducting performance evaluations.

• Collaborate with other departments , such as medicine and rehabilitation, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote quality patient care and efficiency in the nursing department.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives , identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role or as a charge nurse.

• Strong leadership and communication skills , with the ability to motivate and inspire nursing staff.

• Excellent clinical skills , with the ability to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.

compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $48 - $53 HOURLY
