Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant Well established company in Atlanta is in search of an Accounting Assistant that will report to the Accounting Manager. Key duties and responsibilities: Process weekly invoices into computer system. Reconcile monthly vendor statements. Process weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly checks to vendors ensuring all appropriate approvals have been received. Scan all payments into file system. Handle all correspondence between vendors and locations regarding payments. Correspond with all locations regarding questions or concerns with invoices. Follow all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions. Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Accounting training or related experience required, preferably with experience in the construction industry. Knowledge: Basic skill level in MS Office and Excel.
