Compensation: $120,000- $150,000 based on experience  

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Junior Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Atlanta, GA . This position will work closely with senior attorneys across a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, civil litigation, business and commercial litigation, nonprofit representation, and general counsel services.

The ideal candidate is a strong legal researcher and writer who can manage multiple matters, communicate confidently with clients, and take ownership of assigned cases while delivering thoughtful, high-quality legal representation.

 

What You'll Do

• Conduct legal research involving personal injury, commercial litigation, corporate compliance, and Georgia law.
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence.
• Manage and support all phases of civil discovery, including document review, productions, exhibits, and deposition preparation.
• Prepare clients for depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings with senior attorneys or independently when appropriate.
• Review commercial contracts, corporate governance documents, and nonprofit policies.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other legal professionals.
• Assist with case strategy, litigation preparation, and case file management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to assigned clerical or paralegal support staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping records and detailed case notes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Georgia Bar license in good standing.
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience or strong interest in civil litigation, personal injury, business law, or related practice areas.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal research platforms .
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and commitment to client-centered advocacy.
