What You'll Be Doing

You will handle residential HVAC service, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic calls throughout the Greater Hartford area.

Your day may include:

• Diagnosing no-heat and no-cooling calls
• Troubleshooting furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Electrical and mechanical diagnostics
• Refrigeration troubleshooting
• Airflow and comfort issues
• Controls and thermostat diagnostics
• Preventive maintenance
• System evaluations
• Explaining repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners
• Completing accurate service documentation

We want technicians who can diagnose accurately and build trust with customers , not technicians who rely on high-pressure sales tactics.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Active Connecticut S-2 Unlimited Heating, Piping & Cooling Journeyperson License
• EPA Section 608 certification
• Residential HVAC service experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing heating and cooling equipment
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Professional customer communication skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Even Better If You Have

• EPA Universal certification
• NATE certification
• Cold-climate heat pump experience
• ServiceTitan experience
• OSHA training
• Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians
