Software Test Analyst

Software Test Analyst
• Test and deploy web services and Java code resulting from the SRS and defects.
• Interface with other HHSC/DADS development groups to ensure customer support provided as required.
• Provide after-hours support.
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Skills Required:
- Experience in IT and the application development life cycle
- Experience in Unix programming development
- Experience in Web Sphere development
- Experience in Java and JSF programming development
- Experience in Oracle/Sybase programming development
- Experience in Hibernate programming development
- Experience in performing rigorous test case scenarios
- Experience with GUI (Desktop and Web)
- Web services programming experience
- Previous experience in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
- Experience in automated test scripts and architectures for application products
- Experience in developing rigorous test plans and test case scenarios using UML or similar technology
- Experience with customer service
- Experience providing after-hours support
- Experience developing rigorous Unit Test scripts
- Experience creating application builds and working with code versioning tools
- Experience in Informatica development
- Experience in system test cases
- Experience developing application systems that are Section 08 compliant
Skills Preferred:
- Experience working in a State/Federal government environment.
- Experience with HHSC/DADS programs a plus.
