Data Architect
Full-time
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Quincy, MA. Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise data platforms and analytics environments
- Build and maintain scalable data solutions that support reporting, forecasting, customer insights, and business decision-making
- Define data standards, governance policies, security controls, and access management practices
- Partner with business and technology teams to establish data requirements, integration standards, and quality expectations
- Develop and oversee master data strategies across key business domains
- Establish data quality, lineage, monitoring, and observability frameworks
- Support privacy, compliance, and data protection initiatives through technical controls and governance processes
- Drive AI and advanced analytics capabilities by enabling trusted, well-governed data foundations
- Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and review processes
- Mentor technical team members and provide architectural guidance across data initiatives
- Create and maintain a long-term roadmap for data, analytics, and AI capabilities
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical roles
- Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale modern data platforms in production environments
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed data processing frameworks
- Experience implementing master data management and customer data strategies
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Familiarity with AI-enabled development practices and modern software engineering standards
- Advanced skills in SQL and modern data engineering technologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, establish standards, and drive successful project delivery
