Full Time Regular Orlando, FL, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 3695 Financial Aid Advisor II will provide students with the maximum amount of financial assistance to which they are eligible, in accordance with applicable regulations, with timely service and the highest quality, in coordination with other departments to ensure that the institutional development goals are met. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Aid Officer II to join our team and play a vital role in managing student financial assistance programs. Work Location: Orlando Campus. This position is 100% on-site. Work-from-home is not available for this position. Qualifications Completed associate degree or higher. Experience in financial aid within a higher education environment. Ability to work with goals, productivity, and deadlines. High degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and organization. Excellent technology skills: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Campus Nexus, among others. Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and weekends), in order to meet business objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor, evaluate, and recommend financial aid to qualified student applicants. Meet with students to analyze student eligibility for financial aid; review and approve student loans. Input FAFSA’s daily and print needs analysis for file review, monitor, and adjust student aid awards as necessary. Resolve student appeals pertaining to their financial aid eligibility/awards. Advise current and future students regarding financial aid opportunities and procedures; respond to inquiries from students and parents; interpret and explain government and other regulatory requirements relative to financial aid. Collect and analyze data; prepare financial aid reports and applications for funds; prepare forms for office and student use. Present statewide programs to students and parents; compile and edit student financial aid informational materials; coordinate financial aid delivery to off-campus students. Mail Financial Aid packets to future students upon receipt of their application; meet with the Admissions Department regularly to discuss the status of future students.
