Apex has an opportunity for a Payments Business Analyst to join our team in a fast paced Financial Services industry client on an exciting project!

Position: Payments Business Analyst

Location: Remote or Boston (hybrid)

Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Duration: 6 Mo. + (perm potential if local)

Position Description:

Serves as the liaison between the customer community and the software development team via clearly documented functional, system and process requirements. Works with clients to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis and use cases. Evaluates the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the clients business requests and needs and translates them into application and operational requirements. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead a project or group. 5 - 10 years of experience preferred.

Core Requirements:

- Must have 8 - 10 years of experience

- Experience in Bank Payments

- Payment Platforms: SWIFT, FEDWIRE, ACH

- Payment Vendors: FISERV, ACI, FINASTRA

- Experience in ISO 2022

- No specific software requirements- but business analysis expertise required

Required Skills:

- Experience in ISO 20022

- Payment Vendors: FISERV, ACI, FINASTRA

- Business Analysis/Operational analysis background, working w/ business stakeholders
