Overview:
A Japan-based food company specializing in traditional grain and health-focused food products is seeking a Marketing & Sales Associate to support business growth and brand awareness in the U.S. market. This position is open to entry-level candidates as well as experienced professionals who are passionate about Japanese food culture and interested in growing within the food industry.


Responsibilities:
• Support marketing and sales activities for Japanese food products in the U.S. market
• Assist with brand awareness initiatives, promotions, and market research
• Coordinate with external marketing partners for digital marketing and social media activities
• Support trade shows, food events, and promotional activities
• Support online marketing activities including social media and digital promotions
• Provide general administrative and operational support as needed
• Communicate and collaborate with the Japan headquarters
• Help develop relationships with clients, distributors, and business partners
• Support strategic growth initiatives for the North American market
• Analyze market trends and customer feedback to support marketing efforts
• Participate in training in Japan upon joining the company (approximately 2 weeks)


Qualifications:
• Interest in Japanese food and food culture
• Flexible mindset with strong communication and business manners
• Japanese-English bilingual communication skills preferred (Japanese language skill: business-level fluency not required)
• Open to candidates with or without sales experience
• Cross-cultural or international experience is a plus
• Motivated, proactive, and eager to grow professionally


Additional Information:
• Hybrid work environment (2-3 days in office)
