Licensed Practical Nurse

Adelphi is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to perform advanced vocational nursing work for a facility in Terrell, Texas. The ideal LVNs will be required to provide for the care, treatment, and general welfare of patients who have intellectual disabilities, complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral health issues.

Rate: $40/hr

Requirements:

Must possess a valid LVN license.
Must have at least 2 years of experience.
Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements.
Must submit to HHSC required drug test.
Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting.
Must complete facility and HHSC required training.

Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients – manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation.
Perform computer data entry – receive full training.
Comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies, TSH Policy and Directives and HHSC Standards, Rules and Directives.
