Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect with a strong experience in designing and managing multifamily residential projects. This role requires in-depth knowledge of NYC building codes and the ability to lead junior architects and coordinate effectively with consultants. You will be responsible for all phases of design, from schematic through construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of ground-up multifamily residential projects.
• Ensure compliance with NYC building codes.
• Manage and mentor junior architects.
• Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Develop schematic designs and design development.
• Prepare and oversee construction documents.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Bluebeam.
• Experience in new construction and multifamily buildings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Architectural licensure.
• Experience with design development and schematic design.

Work Environment

The role is based in an office located at 225 West 39th Street, requiring presence in the office five days a week. The office environment is laid back and non-corporate, offering opportunities for professional development, including lunch & learns and incentives for obtaining licensure. You will be working on large-scale projects in NYC.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
