Stroke Program Coordinator

Job Summary Coordinates the clinical management of the stroke patient population and their families across the entire continuum of care. Serves as a leader for the stroke program performance improvement initiative. Acts as a clinical resource and role model for all areas caring for stroke patients. Provides and/or coordinates educational activities for staff and patients. Acts as a community liaison on behalf of the program and hospital. Directly involved in the marketing and promotion of services provided. The role includes responsibilities as a patient advocate, change agent, leader, and cost‑effective practitioner. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or holding a compact license. Bachelor’s degree required. SCRN Certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in Neurosciences or Emergency Care field.
