Charge Advanced Modality Technologist (CTOR & Diagnostic Radiology) This role is located at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and reports to the Radiology Department supervisor. Schedule & Compensation Diagnostic Radiology & Hybrid OR Monday thru Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call Rotation Required (1 Day Per Week & Every 9th Weekend) Weekend Rotation (Only On Call Every 9th Weekend) Holiday Rotation Required (1 Day Per Year) 5% Differential on top of base rate for IR certification Job Overview Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (MRI, CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Assists staff technologists, prioritizes and solves patient care or imaging issues, serves as a resource person, delegates tasks, and assumes supervisory responsibilities when necessary. Provides mentorship and training to advanced modalities technicians. Responsibilities Prepares patients and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required. Oversees shift operations including workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusts priorities to meet department needs. Enters and escalates IT and equipment tickets. Serves as the clinical resource and expert for technologists, including problem solving, assisting with difficult exams, and mentoring. Acts as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor, ensuring proper communication and escalation. Maintains and orders necessary supplies for department needs. Minimum Requirements Associate or Trade School equivalent education. 2–5 years of experience in advanced modality imaging. No supervisory experience required. Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES. Preferred Requirements 5–10 years of experience. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
