Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique challenges and goals. Deliver individual, couples, and family therapy through secure telehealth platforms, employing evidence-based practices tailored to the client’s circumstances. Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated client care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participate actively in clinical supervision, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities to enhance your therapeutic skills and knowledge. Employ knowledge of emerging research and best practices in marriage and family therapy to continuously improve clinical interventions. Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality in accordance with legal and organizational guidelines. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clients range from individuals coping with anxiety and depression to couples and families navigating complex relational dynamics. You will provide tailored therapy interventions aimed at fostering resilience, improving communication, and supporting recovery from traumatic experiences. By focusing on the diverse backgrounds and needs of clients in the San Diego area, you will engage with populations facing various socio-economic challenges, contributing to the holistic betterment of the community. Qualifications A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in California is mandatory. A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably with a focus on substance abuse therapy and related issues. Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused interventions and a strong commitment to client-centered practices. Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to engage and motivate clients. Preferred Experience Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with integrative approaches that consider cultural, social, and economic factors affecting mental health. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting, contributing positively to team dynamics and client outcomes. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
