Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients by evaluating the frequency, intensity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms. Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, goals, and preferences. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in individual and family settings. Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment choices, and effective self-care techniques. Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client treatment. Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and advancements in therapeutic techniques, integrating new knowledge into practice. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Conscious Minds, you will work with a diverse client population grappling with various mental health concerns, particularly mood disorders. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in helping clients and families navigate their journeys toward mental wellness, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support that reflects their unique experiences. Qualifications Possession of a valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field. Ability to build secure and trusting relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward the diverse experiences and struggles of clients. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively handle caseloads and associated administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience providing therapy using evidence-based practices. Background in working in outpatient settings. Familiarity with integrated healthcare approaches and collaborative care models. Interest or experience in specializing in addiction counseling or related fields. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
