Work Environment

Our remote work setting combines the convenience of teletherapy with a strong support system. As an LMFT at Summit Psychotherapy, you'll have the flexibility to manage your schedule while working from home. You will also have access to regular staff meetings, group supervision, and individual consultations with your clinical supervisor, ensuring you are never isolated and always have the resources needed to provide the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health challenges.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs, aiming for measurable therapeutic goals.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques that promote personal growth, well-being, and emotional resilience.
• Conduct regular progress evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that the clients are effectively supported throughout their recovery journey.
• Utilize teletherapy for virtual sessions to accommodate clients with mobility issues or those living in remote areas.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with ethical standards and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and remain abreast of industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve clients dealing with a range of mental health issues, including addiction, anxiety, depression, and trauma. We provide services to individuals, couples, and families, with a commitment to culturally competent care. Your experience with diverse populations, particularly those from backgrounds that include clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community, will be invaluable in our mission to provide inclusive and effective therapy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) license issued by the appropriate state board.
• At least two years of full-time clinical counseling experience.
• Demonstrated competency in working with various client demographics, including couples and families.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically working with clients who have addiction issues.
• Expertise in trauma-informed care practices and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
