Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions and create customized treatment plans that cater to individual needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques during individual therapy sessions, encouraging personal growth, emotional resilience, and a pathway toward recovery.
• Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and diligently monitor their progress throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Offer teletherapy sessions to provide flexible and accessible treatment options for clients facing mobility or transportation challenges.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, enhancing your clinical skills and staying current with evidence-based practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and various life transitions. Our clients span different backgrounds, allowing you the opportunity to engage with a variety of perspectives while providing empathetic support tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
• Demonstrable proficiency in establishing trust-based therapeutic relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An understanding of empathy and a nonjudgmental perspective towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, enabling efficient handling of caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in trauma-informed care practices and addiction recovery modalities would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in a private practice or telehealth setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with innovative therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices relevant to marriage and family therapy.
