A national litigation practice is seeking Litigation Associates with 1-10 years of experience to join its growing Insurance Defense Practice Group in Austin and Denver. This role offers the opportunity to manage an active litigation docket, handle cases from inception through resolution, and work closely with experienced trial attorneys representing major insurance carriers. Associates will handle all aspects of litigation involving first-party insurance defense matters, including residential and commercial property claims, uninsured and underinsured motorist matters, commercial and business insurance disputes, and coverage and bad faith litigation.

Independently manage a caseload from inception through resolution

Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions

Appear in court for hearings and case management conferences

Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys

Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and opposing counsel

1-10 years of litigation experience (insurance defense or civil litigation preferred)

Active bar admission in Texas (Austin) or Colorado (Denver)

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Self-starter with strong ownership mindset

Salary range: $105,000 to $155,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and location
