SR ServiceNow Technical Consultant

Job Title:

• Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant

• Minimum qualifications:
  

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• U.S. DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Must be able to work on-site at cleared facilities in the Washington DC region on a Hybrid basis at a minimum.
• Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Configuration experience with ServiceNow ITSM or ITBM applications.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs (all scripted aspects of the ServiceNow system).
• Experience in designing, configuring and implementing business applications.
• Experience in building and enhancing applications through the entire lifecycle (analyze, design, build, test, implement and support).

• Preferred qualifications:

• Strong understanding of core software engineering, system design and integration
• Create and manage scripts and workflow.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
• Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML Setup and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and a rapidly changing landscape.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SDLC concepts and ability to apply that knowledge daily. Agile experience highly preferred.

  Responsibilities

• Configure and implement ServiceNow scoped applications based on user stories as requirements.
• Conduct unit testing and deployment of functionality in ServiceNow based applications.
• Conduct operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities for production ServiceNow scoped applications.
• Function as an application subject-matter-expert for the DTech Apps Suite of applications.
• Engage with customers in both a structured and unstructured manner to understand their business problems and communicate cross-functionally across both customer and internal teams.
• Define, design, and implement business solutions.
