Operations Manager SEugene - Eugene, OR 97402-0000OverviewSalary Range $56,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary Position Type Full TimeDescriptionJob SummaryThe Operations Manager will supervise daily branch operations while planning, scheduling, and directing branch personnel to ensure customer satisfaction, increase revenue and drive productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides operational leadership for areas of the branch including; Inventory Management, Loss Prevention, Risk Management, Customer Service, Order Management and Training / DevelopmentMonitors/drives operational efficiencies and is accountable for key operational metricsPlans and supports sales and marketing activitiesEquips sales with the information, tools, and learning to drive sales effectivenessCommunicates regularly and partners with Branch Manager and corporate office teamsProvides information regularly to corporate managementParticipates in development and design of process improvementsParticipates in refinement and analysis of current operational policies and proceduresMonitors branch operating expenses such as stationery expenditures and freight costs Conducts branch quality meetings to communicate information and resolve problemsAssists with requests relating to inventory management, scheduling, recalls, service problems, procurement of supplies, etc.Maintains the highest standard of quality and safety for branch personnelStays current and is responsible for implementing applicable safety regulations at the branch locationPerforms other tasks as requiredQualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)Minimum of 5 years of Operational ExperienceMinimum of 3 years managerial experienceExperience in development of operational procedures and programsDetail orientation; ability to review and assess details quicklyExcellent interpersonal communication skills both in-person and on the phoneNumbers Oriented; Profit and Loss Statement management experience requiredSolution Oriented; able to determine solution for multiple levels of the businessAbility to effectively manage one's own time and the time of othersAbility to demonstrate teamwork, leadership and flexibilityStrong written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to work in fast paced environmentExperience with JD Edwards software a plusPhysical requirementsStand, use hands, and reach with hands and armsWalk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlSit, climb or balanceLift and/or move up to 110 pounds.
