Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum two years of ICU experience required; neurosurgery experience preferred License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: - ICU experience - Epic experience - Basic Arrhythmia experience - Must pass Telemetry test prior to starting Description: We are seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro ICU. This unit specializes in the care of critically ill adult patients with various neuro diagnoses. Conditions treated include stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. Strong critical thinking skills are essential in this role. Specialized interventions such as hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia management are performed. Collaboration with a supportive interdisciplinary care team is essential. Nurses will have the opportunity to work in a culture that values nurse-driven collaboration. Experience with accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, and ventilator management is required. Candidates must be willing to work with ICU and IMC patient populations. This role includes weekend rotation and holiday coverage. Travelers will be required to float as needed.
