Join Our Team as an Optometric Technician at South Grove Eye Care!

Are you an experienced optometric technician looking to join a dynamic team in the optometry industry? South Grove Eye Care, a private optometry office with two locations in Trafalgar and Greenwood, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. With a focus on providing quality eye care services, including cataract referrals, dry eye treatments, and pediatric eye exams, South Grove Eye Care is committed to building long-term relationships with our patients.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-testing and assist with eye exams
• Perform general scheduling and answer phones
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Assist with dispensing, adjustments, and minor repairs to eyewear
• Assist with submittion of insurance claims and handle billing inquiries

Required Skills:

• Experience in optical knowledge and lensometry
• Ability to perform pretesting such as Optos, OCT, iCare
• Knowledge of autorefractor and FDT
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations

Nice to Have Skills:

• NCLE certification
• Experience with contact lens fittings
• Knowledge of eye care diagnosis and visual acuity
• Ability to perform general repairs on optical equipment
• Proficiency in scheduling appointments

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $36,000 to $48,000 per year, along with health insurance, holiday pay, and paid time off.
