About the Opportunity:

Taxi Management LLC is looking for a detail-focused Staff Accountant to join our in-person accounting team in Las Vegas, NV. This role is a great fit for an Accounting Associate, General Ledger Accountant, or early-career finance professional looking to build hands-on experience with a high-volume, well-known local transportation business.

You will work across key accounting functions, including month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and day-to-day accounting operations. Our team values accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries, accruals, and general ledger adjustments to support timely and dependable financial reporting.
• Complete account reconciliations, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and review supporting documentation to identify and resolve variances.
• Support month-end close by organizing financial information, maintaining schedules, and helping the team meet reporting deadlines.
• Assist with financial statements and management reports that support informed business decisions.
• Maintain fixed asset records, assist with depreciation accounting, and support strong internal control procedures.
• Work with colleagues throughout the organization to address accounting questions and keep financial records complete and organized.

What You Bring:

• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and the ability to apply sound judgment to routine accounting transactions.
• Experience preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledger accounts, and completing account reconciliations with close attention to detail.
• Comfort supporting month-end close and preparing or reviewing balance sheets and financial statements.
• Clear communication skills, strong prioritization abilities, and a dependable approach to accurate work in an on-site team setting.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant accounting experience.

Technical Skills That Are Valued:

• Experience with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, taxes, fixed assets, or public accounting.
• CPA progress, CPA certification, or previous public accounting experience is welcome but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

This is an in-person Staff Accountant role in Las Vegas, NV, paying $18 to $20 per hour , based on qualifications and experience. Taxi Management LLC offers health, dental, and vision insurance; Health Savings Accounts; vacation leave; sick leave; holiday pay; and paid time off.
