Field Superintendent – Service Length: 9 weeks' vacation (increases with tenure), 7 sick days, 3 floating holidays, and 8 company observed holidays. Base salary: $113,400 – $141,700. This range may be adjusted based on experience, education, location, and alignment with business priorities. The listed compensation reflects base salary only. Responsibilities Operations Management Lead a safe and effective team environment by guiding field technicians to meet quality standards and contract requirements. Coordinate routes, scheduling, parts ordering, and payroll verification to assure profitability. Partner with Area/Territory Operations Managers to implement best practices and achieve service financial and delivery metrics. Quality and Safety Perform regular site inspections to deliver exceptional service, maintenance, warranty, and repair. Conduct field safety audits at required intervals to ensure technicians follow safe work practices. Employee Development, Planning & Logistics Educate technicians on processes, tools, and standards through training and performance programs. Manage logistics and implement preventive maintenance strategies, including quarterly customer site visits. Collaboration Collaborate with the local sales team to estimate service orders and maintain relationships with local IUEC business agents. Partner with New Installation and Modernization Project Managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction. Problem Solving Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customers to investigate, resolve, and address operational challenges. Gain expertise in supervising customer accounts while navigating industry regulations. Strengthen business acumen by mastering P&L financial management and using Power BI dashboards for data‑driven decisions. Acquire in-depth knowledge of elevator and escalator systems by shadowing experienced technicians on site. Qualifications 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues. Proven leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office suite.
