Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in collaborative discussions with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including nurses, physicians, and chaplains, to address the holistic needs of clients.

• Develop detailed, individualized treatment plans through assessments, ensuring they align with the client’s emotional and psychological needs while also adapting to changing circumstances.

• Provide consistent education to clients and families about available mental health resources, guiding them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Monitor and document client progress, utilizing evidence-based practices and current research to inform treatment adjustments and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically requires expertise in working with elderly populations, including those facing life-limiting illnesses. Your role will involve understanding the unique challenges these clients face, including psychological distress, grief, and family dynamics. By providing tailored emotional support and resources, you will help enhance their quality of life during their hospice experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.

• Demonstrated clinical skills and experience in a mental health setting, particularly with aged populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
