Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver CPO in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns at an assigned location. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue08:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed08:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun08:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the property, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a CPO certification. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
