Kelly is hiring a Mechanical Assembler on behalf of a leading designer and manufacturer of custom automated machinery and material handling systems.

$22.00 - $25.00 Based on Experience

Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and diagrams.
• Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, machinery, and equipment according to specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment to build custom machinery.
• Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and installation of mechanical components.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering requirements.
• Test completed equipment and assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues during the assembly process.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous mechanical assembly, maintenance, machine building, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with pneumatic equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulic systems, and AC/DC electrical systems is a strong plus.
