Work Environment\n

This remote position requires you to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals while enjoying the flexibility of a telehealth format. Our typical hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility necessary to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences of each patient, leading to effective treatment planning.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to the needs of individuals and groups, considering cultural perspectives in therapy.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, engaging patients in ways that promote resilience and long-term well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights that enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in team meetings and contribute to culture competency training sessions, staying informed about current research and best practices in therapy.

Your work will involve engaging with a wide range of clients, including those from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ sectors, and various immigrant communities. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Florida.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with an emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in conducting one-on-one and group therapy using culturally responsive methods.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills with an ability to manage challenging situations effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, emphasizing rapport-building with a diverse patient population.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools to streamline therapy processes.

• Commitment to ethical guidelines and professional boundaries, ensuring confidentiality is upheld in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
