Registered Nurse - Float - Peds/PICU/NICU

JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age‑appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Float Pool staff will follow a 6‑week schedule with a weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays, and 2 difficult‑to‑staff days required. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.

REQUIREMENTS

Telemetry experience required Peds/PICU/NICU experience required 2+ years of experience required RN license in Maryland or Compact State (as applicable)

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PEDIATRIC FLOAT ROLES

Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) STABLE within 6 months of hire Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire Preferred: Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CRITICAL CARE FLOAT ROLES Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire

SALARY & SIGN‑ON BONUS
