Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist working with elementary-aged students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position spans 32.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ development in a supportive school environment near Orland Park, IL.

Your role will focus on providing OT services to an elementary caseload across the school year. You'll collaborate with educators and families to optimize each student’s functional success, engaging in both direct therapy and consultative interventions.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility) in Illinois
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the assignment

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students as outlined in their IEPs
• Assess and document students’ needs, strengths, and progress
• Participate in IEP meetings as part of the multidisciplinary team
• Develop therapeutic goals tailored to each child’s needs
• Educate staff and families on strategies that support student growth and independence
• Maintain accurate student records and timely reporting
