Build and optimize carrier partner relationships, alliance partnerships, and other relations responding to capacity requirements and network. Provide recommendations on rate adjustments based on market changes. Deliver on strategic growth initiatives and profitability targets. Analyze freight market to maximize profit and negotiating power at each transaction. Analyze freight carriers and lanes on capacity, utilization, insurance, price, safety, and service. Negotiate rates and terms with carrier partners and customers. Communicate market changes and carrier opportunities to Leadership and stakeholders. Manage the end‑to‑end process from buying carriers to pick‑up and delivery for customers. Serve as interface between customer transportation personnel and head office. Integrate customer transportation strategies within Swift strategies. Maintain focus on Key Performance Indicators. Proactively support others to achieve organizational objectives. Qualifications 1+ years experience in customer accounts and/or operations and/or billing. Basic knowledge of transportation and 3PL. Bachelor's in related field or equivalent experience. Results oriented with entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability to solicit new customers and meet revenue targets. Strong sense of urgency and bias for action. Knowledgeable of TMS and brokerage systems. Self-confident and self‑starter operating without close supervision. Able to operate in a busy, demanding environment. Understand and enforce company policies. Knowledgeable of AS400 and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills and ability to communicate well with others. Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with superior problem‑solving ability.
