Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately and efficiently under time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and using appropriate tools. Proactively explore root causes of issues, provide forward‑thinking solutions, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded. Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies. Take pride in store appearance, helping to keep the store clean, attractive, and organized. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience.
